Finally! The sleigh I have been dreaming of for so many years but never bought because of small amounts of snow and steep hills around our old barn. But now we are located in a hill-free paradise with direct access to both the forest and fields, and we even have a winter with plenty of snow!
Look how gorgeous it is!
It was restaured by the talented Bo Fellking in Brumunddal and I don’t know much about its history, but it was painted in a way similar to the Royal carriages and sleighs, wich is cool! Maybe it’s a proper princess sleigh.
The sleigh is also equipped with an artificial armory, made to scare away thiefs and bandits on the road. How awesome is that?! It’s not difficult to imagine this sleigh being used to transport people around in snowy, old Norway.
